8 years ago today, we met School Girl for the first time. We also meet her other father for the first time that day, and her foster family who had been taking care of her for the previous 6 weeks since she had been out of the hospital.
I’ve got a lot of thoughts about those 3 days, but I think I’ll wait. I’ve already embarrassed myself in front of one person, so I’ll spare the rest of you.
