Now it Can Be Told

Sarah Palin resigned last summer in her first term as Governor of Alaska, a mere two years before the official end of her term. At the time, people speculated about why she was resigning. Was she about to be indicted? Were all the pressures of the media spotlight just too much? Was she planning a run for President in 2012?

Now we know. Fox News Channel announced yesterday that former Gov. Palin would be their latest, um, expert political commentator and host of a new show, “Great American Stories”.

Anything I say right now would be an incredibly cheap, low shot (and oh so tempting). So I’ll just say that I wish her and her family the best of luck in New York and her new career.

She can’t move to New York! There aren’t any ‘real’ Americans there!

Oh, wait. Sorry. IOKIYAR.

    :D :D :D

I’m wondering out loud how long this gig will last. Not that she couldn’t deal with intense media scrutiny from the “liberal meanies” when she was running for VP, I’m just sayin’.

Here’s the thing… leaving a job halfway through? Without giving notice? I don’t care if you’re governor or a lowly corporate drone like yours truly… that’s just not done. I hope Fox doesn’t regret this employment decision.

Agreed – very uncool if you ever, you know, want to work again.

I’m guessing Fox has her replacement lined up as we speak. Leno, perhaps? :D

Sounds like a match made in… well… er… somewhere hot.
*L*

I give her 3 months before she quits, all the while complaining that people are being mean to her because she’s got less substance than Paris Hilton.
