Especially after the last couple of parties she's gone to. Both have involved epic voyages and both made for some <strong>very</strong> long days. I think if it's okay with School Girl, we might try inviting her other family here for her "family" party (her birthday's on a Friday this year). We've had the most success with offering The Boy two choices: a 'large' birthday party (ie, 6-ish kids) or a small sleepover (3 kids, tops; 2 preferred) which will also include some kind of outing.
