Yesterday, I started on a big project. Project Mommy Needs a Carry-on Bag began like this:

There is one skein of dark gray that isn’t in the picture, but you get the idea. After two packets of acid dye (each pack is supposed to dye 1 lb. of protein fiber single strength) and roughly 24 hours, it looked like this:

Now I’m starting to worry that I won’t have enough red to do what I have in mind with this. But I (hopefully) can get some more this weekend.
