But this year, School Girl was diagnosed w/asthma; so her doctor recommended both the regular flu shot and the H1N1. If I knew we'd be here until, say, November, at least we'd have her doctor's supervision. Without that... When children are a certain ago - I think her doc mentioned over 9 or 10 - they can choose whether or not to get the live "nasal spray" vaccine or the killed virus vaccine. I'm not sure what the H1N1 vaccine will use; that was a transcript of last night's local news, and their medical reporter didn't say what sort of virus they'd use in the trial vaccine. I'm not against vaccines but I do have mixed feelings about this one... It's a brand new vaccines without much data. Your article doesn't specific but here, in the Great White North, the vaccine will have a live agent.
