Today is School Girl’s last day of 1st grade. She’s not been taking it too well, so Evil Dad and I are both picking her up from school and doing something special afterwards.
Bring Me to Life – Evanescence
Sweet Sweet Baby (I’m Falling) – Lone Justice
(Sittin’ on) the Dock of the Bay – Otis Redding
French Suite No. 5 in G, BWV 816: Sarabande – J. S. Bach
It’s Called a Heart – Depeche Mode
Condemnation – Depeche Mode
Crimson and Clover – Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Dark Wood of Error – Sepultura
Your Country – Gogol Bordello
Tribal Connection – Gogol Bordello
Bonus: I Love Rock ‘n Roll – Joan Jett

Today is Boo’s last day as well, and they are stuck doing all of their ‘field day’ activities in the gym. *pouts*
*tight hugs all the way around*
Here’s my list for today… weirdly, you and i have one of the same songs, but by different people!
“Decades” – Joy Division
“Drive” – REM
“I Won’t Hold You Back” – Toto
“The Sweetest Drop” – Peter Murphy
“Everything I Do (I Do It For You)” – Bryan Adams
“I Am the Highway” – Audioslave
“The Power of Love” – Frankie Goes To Hollywood
“Crimson and Clover” – Tommy James and the Shondells
“Nothingness” – Living Colour
“She Sells Sanctuary” – The Cult
Bonus:
“Heaven Can Wait” – MeatLoaf
Undoubtably my absolute favorite song he ever recorded, and perhape one of the most obscure.

Yep, Tommy James did the original – been racking my brain to figure out who it was for a whole day now.
“Heaven Can Wait” is obscure? I love that one. It’s actually…pretty for Meat Loaf.
Zuh? Is it raining out there? Last year the kindie Field Day was awful, as this year, but they still had it outside.
