Here’s the link for the final section of Jeni Barnett’s LBC radio show about the MMR vaccine. In this section, a NHS nurse by the name of Yasmin calls in and tries to present some facts, based on the work she does daily and the information about the MMR vaccines she has available to her. Basically, she gets nothing but shouted down and talked back to. Sorry about the sentence constrution there – not really a better way to say what happened.
Thanks so much to “Dr. Rachie” from The Skeptic Zone for the YouTube posting of the program.
A diagnosis of autism is awful, especially the more severe forms of autism. Not being able to communicate with your child…it’s such a rush when you can finally hold a conversation with your child, I can’t even imagine not ever being able to do that. I can understand wanting answers as to why it’s happened to your baby; to you. I’d really like to see some attention paid and more money spent on finding the actual causes of autism rather than finding out what doesn’t cause autism.
It also helps to remember that there are real illnesses that vaccines help to prevent. Real illnesses that are still with us that cause many more awful things to happen to children. Like death. Vaccinate your baby.
