Because the crafting is interspersed with the holiday stuff…
I bet you thought that there would be a post about politics or something else going on in the world. There is one thing, sadly, that I’ll be writing about, but not this post. Or about School Girl being sick for the past 3 1/2 days and our fun-filled trip to the radiologist’s office. No, that’s not it either. This is a Guess What I Did This Week post.
For instance, I finally finished this:
If you’re on Ravelry, you might possibly remember one of two works in progress that haven’t had pictures to accompany them. This is one of them. It’s from Needle Noodle’s D20 pattern. It was going to be a holiday present, but somebody else has claimed this one. Rolls too, it does. This is also School Girl’s first bit of hand sewing. That’s how I could tell she was feeling better yesterday – I couldn’t keep her away from trying to push the needle through. By the end, I was holding the pieces together and pushing the stuffing in while she sewed. Not perfect yet; but a fine, fine start, I think.
I’m now up to the part of Baroque #1 that I’ve already photographed, so I’m not even bothering to link here. It looks like the other one, but smaller.
After our trip to the radiologist, School Girl was rewarded by a trip to Star$s for a clementine Izze. I also went in to get a sleeve for…something. Can’t show you just yet; I need to wait until they’re all safely in the mail. But I think it’s pretty good.
There are another couple of Cthulhus in the works and a pair of mitten/glove things that somebody promised she’d wear if I made them. I dropped down half a needle size to see if that’ll give me a smaller gauge. It just needs to be about 3/4″ smaller, and then they’ll fit perfectly for the rest of the winter. Maybe.

OMG! That is the cutest thing!!!
*tight hugs to the queen and princess of cute sewing projects!*
*tight hugs back* Thanks! It rolls too.
