An Ode to Lazy Blogging

Because I’m feeling incredibly lazy today, here are some stories that jumped out at me from my newsreader this morning:

Quite literally, hell has broken loose in Mumbai over the past couple of days. Jim Yeager at Skippy has some thoughts about the subject.

Possummomma writes about the phenomenon of doomsday cults, and what they have in common with…other things.

Did you hear the one about the man who was trampled to death at WalMart? Yeah, really. And people wonder why I no longer leave the house on “Black Friday”.

I’ve been seeing all sorts of exciting craft projects over the past 3 days. Sadly, I cannot show them to you, or I’d have to kill you. You know how it is. Once they’ve been sent off…

Speaking of sending things off…I have an annual-ish announcement to make next week. This year, I can confidently say there won’t be anything like a miscarriage to get in the way.

Ok, now you have me. What is the announcement. And couldn’t you just show me the stuff…and then I just pretend not to see it? :)

See, this is what happens when you worship the Old Ones. Your blogging becomes lazy and you engage is a string of vague, yet ominous threats. Personally, I believe the Wal-Mart guy was trampled because of an obscure ritual resurrected by a Cthulhu doomsday cult, but that’s just my theory.

*hugs*

Randal… now that you’ve given away our secrets, you shall have to be either assimilated, or eliminated. Cthulhu F’thagn!

K… *tightest hugs imaginable* Going into the frosty season, i am ever so thankful to have my best friend to share warm thoughts with.

Moogie: We’ll see! I should warn you, if you have a lot of holiday tunes the announcement isn’t quite as much fun.

Randal: You’ll see just how ominous the threats are, my pretty. You and your little dog, too! Hahahahahahaha! There *are* pictures of all the projects, just can’t display them until they’re out in the mail/FedEx truck. There’s also one that won’t be ready – it’s going to be a right bitch to finish, but the recipients will like it, I think.

Pmomma: Thank you. *hugs* I wrote about it in a protected post last year, but I’m feeling a little less fragile about things. Maybe later…

Deb: *bighugs* That’s one of many reasons why I love you. Hope you guys had a great, great weekend.
