You haven’t read that?

Duly stolen from Randal this afternoon, a book meme.

List five books you’re embarrassed that you haven’t read. Like I said in the comments, I can think of a lot of books I’m embarrassed to have read – but let’s see if I can come up with 5.

Slaughterhouse 5 – Kurt Vonnegurt
The Origin of the Species (yes, really) – Charles Darwin
Crime and Punishment – Fyodor Dostoevsky
Middlemarch – George Eliot
The Picture of Dorian Gray – Oscar Wilde (not sure if this one counts, as I’m reading it now)

There be the list, arrgh! I officially tag anyone and everyone. Have at it.

Of course it counts since you haven’t completed it yet! Don’t worry, I haven’t read the Darwin either. I probably will at some point, but I’m already a believer *cough* in evolution, so I’d probably rather spend my time with another novel. :)

School Girl and I are reading The Sandwalk Adventures now, which kind of summarizes Origin in a way, so I don’t feel all that bad. :-)

I thought the Wilde would be a lot more gut-wrenching for some reason, but I’m only through the first 2 1/2 chapters, so…

Hi Evil Mommy,

Yes it counts. And now you have me wanting to read it again.

On another subject: I added your new site as a link on my blog. I try to keep my list up to date. Well at least once a month anyway.

Sincerely, Lady Euphoria

Hi Lady Euphoria,

Still plugging away at it…I keep wanting to smack Lord Henry with a hammer and tell him to leave the poor little boy alone – but I guess that was the point of the story.

I need to redo my links as well – probably this week, along with some other stuff.
*hugs*
