Nope, not really. Yesterday was 70 and sunny, and today’s going to be 80, and there are many, many other things demanding my attention. Like the piano, for instance. But I saw a new blog the other day. Seeing as how it combines two of my obsessions – politics and knitting – I thought I’d mention it here.
I’ve written before about my participation in the Stitch for Senate project; the idea is to make helmet liners for every US Senator, as part of an art installation, and present them to the Senators at the end along with testimony/writing from each participating knitter. Now Cat Mazza, the woman who started the project, has a Stitch for Senate blog. So far, there are pieces on the planned exhibit itself, the 5 year anniversary of the Iraq War, the Raging Grannies demonstration in NYC, and a picture of some (all?) of the helmet liners sent in so far. I thought I could see my liner in the stack…
