Most likely part 1 of a series.
Well. I think the comment thing is fixed now, and I can actually see the posts I put up. No, I haven’t the faintest idea what I did wrong, or how I fixed it. But it is, for the time being, fixed.
So go ahead and leave a comment or so.

Yay!
The only drawback is – I can’t use the “good” permalinks; with year/month/#post. Just tried it and lost the comments again. *sigh*
Bummer… And I had a ‘First!’ post and everything. Eh. Whatchagonnado?
Since you aren’t going through WordPress for hosting, you should have access to the MySQL databases that contain the comments. WordPress doesn’t delete anything, the comments are still there.
(Though that’s probably more trouble than most people want to deal with.)
Hi ! I’ll just keep following you. ;-]
Protected Static: No, no, the comments return…I just can’t use the prettier permalinks. Looking through the forums, I see other people have the same problem, but I can’t see what to do about it. So the permalinks will be what they are.
Emma: Yay! Hope things are going well there…
I hope you were careful on the move and didn’t break any thing like the fine china or lamps.
woohoo! this is my comment…or rather, my “or something”.
Carnacki: I don’t think I broke anything, but I’m having trouble finding some things. Like all my CDs and my boots. I know they’re here somewhere…
Barb: Yay! Thanks for that.
So are you wanting to set your archives to year/month/whatever? Is the template not letting you? Just curious. I’m still learning about all things WordPress.
